Motley Crue

Through my process of adding CD's to Musicbrainz over the last month, one key requirement is that I take photos of all the CD's I'm adding. (See the Musicbrainz editing FAQ)

But this is reasonable given the controls needed to keep Musicbrainz sane, so hence I add CD's such as ...

...to flickr, the main reason to flickr is because my Nokia N82 uploads photos extremely easily and has a fantastic camera.

But besides the point I have been noticed by those searching for 'Motley Crue' and have received the following message:

:: Your Motley Crue photo

The photo was taken not in an arty style, but more so my camera was in negative mode to make some CD's a bit clearer. I don't judge the photo I've taken to have particular artistic features but instead feel the email is from a bot to gain my permission.

But still, odd things happen when you post a lot of photos on flickr.

Spam bots get attracted to them very easily and I just hope that I make a day a little weirder for some flickr members by having random cd's appear on their flickr home.
